Good to Know
Your Questions, Answered.
Will it remove every reflection?
No. A CPL can help reduce certain reflections, particularly from non-metallic surfaces such as glass and water. The effect depends on the light, surface and shooting angle.
Why do I need to rotate the ring?
Rotation changes the polarization effect. Watch your phone screen as you turn the ring and stop when the reflections look the way you want.
Is it a variable ND filter?
A CPL is primarily used to control polarized reflections. A variable ND filter is designed to adjust overall light transmission. They serve different purposes.
Should I leave it over the camera all the time?
Use it when the scene benefits from reflection control. Polarizing filters reduce incoming light, so flip it away when it is not needed, particularly in dim conditions.
Does 52mm mean it fits every phone?
No. The filter size does not establish phone compatibility. Confirm that the selected mounting system suits your phone, camera layout and case before ordering.
