From visible damage to a neater finish
A Small Repair Area. A Noticeable Difference.
Chipped wood around a lock can make an otherwise cared-for door look unfinished. This plate covers the surrounding area within its footprint while adding a metal wrap around the door edge.
Before
Exposed chips, rough edges and visible damage around the lock opening.
After Fitting
A silver cover over the affected area, with the lock hardware reinstalled through the aligned openings.
One continuous wraparound profile
Reinforcement That Follows the Door Edge.
The U-shaped design spans the two door faces and the edge between them, bringing metal coverage to the area around the lock.
-
Wraparound structure: covers the lock area on both sides of the door.
-
Purposeful openings: a large lock bore and a side opening accommodate compatible lock hardware.
-
Existing fixing holes: provide defined positions for securing the plate.

Before you decide
A Few Useful Answers.
Will it fit every door and lock?
No. Compare the door thickness, plate channel, lock bore, backset and latch opening. Backset means the distance from the door edge to the center of the lock hole.
Can I keep my existing lock?
The demonstration reinstalls the existing lock hardware. Your hardware can only be reused if its dimensions and fixing arrangement remain compatible with the plate.
Does it restore damaged wood?
It covers localized damage and adds metal reinforcement around the lock area. It does not replace missing structural wood or restore severely split or unsound material.
Are the knob and tools included?
The images show the plate in use with a door lock and tools. Check the selected pack description for the exact items supplied.
Will it stop forced entry?
No forced-entry rating has been provided for this product. Treat it as a lock-area reinforcement and repair component, not a guarantee against break-ins.
