One movement.
Two clear states.

The sliding shutter physically covers or exposes the opening. Use it for parked privacy, then check that the camera and nearby sensors are fully clear before driving.

Before every drive: open fully and confirm an unobstructed camera view. This cover does not guarantee compatibility with FSD, Autopilot, infrared illumination or driver-monitoring systems.

Start with the fit.
Then apply.

The cover has adhesive backing. Check the surface and sensor layout before removing the liner.

  1. Check clearance. Compare the footprint and opening with your camera housing. Keep adjacent sensors and IR emitters clear.
  2. Align carefully. Position the opening over the lens without touching the lens or placing adhesive on it.
  3. Press the frame. Secure it to a suitable clean, dry surrounding surface, then test full slider travel while parked.

Before you choose

A few useful answers.

Can I keep the cover closed while driving?

Open it fully before driving and whenever a feature needs the cabin camera. Tesla advises keeping the camera lens unobstructed. Do not use this product to interfere with driver monitoring.

Does it guarantee FSD or Autopilot compatibility?

No. Compatibility depends on your vehicle, camera housing, sensor layout and software. The open position must leave the lens and nearby emitters fully clear. Follow your vehicle's instructions.

Will it fit every Model 3 or Model Y?

Universal fit is not confirmed. Check the 28 × 11 mm footprint and 7.5 mm opening against your camera area before ordering. Do not install it if it would obstruct nearby equipment.

Does it switch the camera off?

No. The shutter physically covers the opening when closed. It does not power the camera off or change vehicle privacy settings.

How does Tesla handle cabin camera data?

Tesla states that cabin camera images and video do not leave the vehicle by default unless data sharing is enabled. Review your vehicle's privacy settings and the official cabin camera guidance for your model.

Make your parked moments your own.
