What surfaces do these stick to? Will they work on my target stand? +
The self-adhesive backing works on any clean, dry, flat surface — including cardboard backers (most common at indoor ranges), foam target boards, plywood backstop panels, and smooth wood. The key requirements are that the surface is flat, dry, and reasonably smooth. Textured or damp surfaces may reduce adhesion. If your target stand uses a cardboard backer insert, these stick directly to that. If it’s a bare wire frame or steel stand without a flat backing surface, you’ll need to add a cardboard or foam insert behind the sticker.
Are these suitable for both pistol and rifle use? +
Yes — the 8-inch format is a standard practice target size used for both pistol and rifle training. For pistol work at typical indoor range distances (7–25 yards), the ring spacing provides clear shot group feedback. For rifle use and scope zeroing at 25–100 yards, the bullseye center gives you a precise aiming reference and the outer rings show your point-of-impact deviation. How many range sessions does a 50-pack cover? +
At a typical range session using 5–6 targets (cycling through fresh stickers between strings or after heavy perforation), a 50-pack covers roughly 8–10 sessions. If you use fewer targets per session or do shorter practice drills, the pack lasts longer. For group range days with two or more shooters, expect 4–5 sessions. The goal of the 50-count is to give you enough for regular practice without re-ordering every month — keep a pack in your range bag and you’re covered for a full season of casual to moderate shooting.
Will these damage the target stand or backer when I remove them? +
On cardboard backers (the most common range application), the sticker is typically left on the cardboard and both are disposed of together after the session — so surface damage isn’t a concern. On foam boards or plywood backstops that you reuse, adhesive residue may remain after removal. For reusable surfaces, applying the sticker to a fresh piece of cardboard placed over the surface gives you easy cleanup without adhesive transfer to the permanent backing.
