Adjustable Welding Positioning Magnet

Set The Joint Before You Strike The Arc.

Hold compatible steel pieces, move them to the angle your project needs, lock the hinge and spend less time physically supporting the joint while you prepare the weld.

20°–200° Adjustment
48LB / 77LB Options
Hex-Locking Hinge

Adjustable angle welding magnet holding steel at an angle

48LB ◆ 77LB ◆ 20°–200° ◆ ±2° SCALE ◆ HEX LOCK ◆ FRAME SETUP ◆ METAL FABRICATION

The Setup Comes First

A Better Tack Starts With Workpieces That Stay Where You Put Them.

Holding tube, plate or brackets by hand while also checking the angle makes fabrication unnecessarily awkward. A magnetic positioning holder gives compatible steel pieces temporary support while the joint is aligned.

Position

Bring two compatible steel workpieces together at the intended joint.

Adjust

Pivot the holder instead of swapping between several fixed-angle magnets.

Tack

Spend less effort physically holding the pieces while preparing the first weld.

Four-step use of adjustable magnetic welding holder

Simple Setup Workflow

Adjust. Lock. Position. Weld.

Set The First Arm

Place one magnetic face against compatible steel.

Adjust The Angle

Pivot the opposite arm toward the required joint.

Tighten The Lock

Use the hex wrench to secure the hinge position.

Align & Tack

Confirm the joint and prepare the weld.

Wide Angle Range

Go Beyond The Usual 45° And 90° Setup.

The center pivot provides an adjustment range from 20° through 200°, making the holder useful across acute, right-angle and wide-open joint positions.

Irregular Fabrication

Welding magnet angle lock scale hex wrench and wrench storage

Built Around Repeatable Setup

Read The Angle. Tighten The Hinge. Keep Moving.

Degree markings are positioned directly around the pivot, while the hex-lock system lets you tighten the holder after reaching the desired angle.

Angle Scale

Read the approximate joint position directly at the center pivot.

±2° Scale

The current product marks a ±2° scale tolerance.

Wrench Storage

The tool includes a built-in location for the supplied hex wrench.

Choose The Holding Class

48LB For Compact Setup. 77LB For A Larger Magnetic Holder.

The current product is offered in two magnetic-force classes. Both use the same adjustable-angle concept, while the 77LB model has a larger body and stronger listed magnetic rating.

48LB Compact

Approx. 4.33 × 2.48 × 0.55 in. Rated at 48LB magnetic force. A smaller option for general welding setup and compact fabrication work.

77LB Higher Holding Class

Approx. 4.72 × 3.07 × 0.63 in. Rated at 77LB / 35KG class. A larger holder for users wanting the stronger listed magnetic rating.

48LB Version

Compact Magnetic Positioning.

The 48LB model combines the full 20°–200° adjustment system with the smaller body size.

77LB Version

Step Up To The Higher Magnetic Rating.

The 77LB model is listed at approximately 35KG class and uses the same adjustable hinge concept in a larger body.

Product Highlights

Spend Less Time Fighting The Joint Before The Weld.

Adjustable Positioning

One holder for more than one angle.

Move through a broad 20°–200° range instead of relying only on fixed-angle magnets.

Two Magnetic Ratings

Choose between 48LB and 77LB.

Match the holder size and listed magnetic-force class to your fabrication workflow.

Hex-Locking Hinge

Adjust first. Tighten second.

The supplied hex wrench secures the hinge after the desired position is set.

Visible Degree Scale

See the angle at the pivot.

Markings around the center joint help make setup more repeatable.
